Do Men Make Better CEOs?
By Perry A~
Dessert Analyst and author of People Are Just Desserts
Not necessarily. According to Perry A~, self proclaimed dessert analyst,
Chocolate Cake People make better CEO’s. A variety of desserts on the
staff create an even better image. They will provide balance and more
opportunity to co-create through integration of talents and abilities.
Therein lies the true measure of success. The ability has nothing to do
with gender.
However, according to Perry A~, Chocolate Cake People are determined,
focused and self-disciplined with the ability to pursue a task to
completion. They are self-driven, competitive, high achievers. Organized,
structured and dedicated, they will keep everyone on task.
As a perfectionists, they go the extra mile. They begin with the end
clearly in mind and are results oriented. They don’t like unfinished
business lying about. They get straight to the point, making decisions
based logically on the facts.
Being so tenacious they move swiftly and keep things flowing. They easily
delegate, empowering others with appropriate tasks.
Prioritization is a must to stay on schedule. Play and fluff are the first
things to go. Work is work and play is a separate item. Anything deemed
unnecessary is eliminated. Good CEO’s reward the work efforts after a
successful completion. Because of this strict schedule, they are often
perceived as bossy, critical and insensitive. With a degree of tack they
are awesome leaders.
"Chocolate Cake People come in both sexes." said Perry A~, as
she recently interviewed Sheila Long, CEO of Long’s International
Trainers Bureau of Austin, Texas. She found Sheila to be an outstanding
and innovative CEO as well as a successful mother and wife.
Never underestimate the power of a Chocolate Cake Person, male or female.
Put your sensitivity in your pocket with either gender, however, as their
corrections are only meant to improve your performance.
