A Delicious
Point Of View Any Way You Taste It!
By Perry A~
Sample them, take a big bite! Keep it simple though, after all, People are
Just Desserts.
See people in their most delicious and appealing forms. Integrate them
based on the natural sweetness of the dessert they are. Master the art of
seeing people as enticing desserts. It is easy to love and accept
desserts. It’s life from another point of view, from the rich goodness
of a self-contained Chocolate Eclair to a free flowing Strawberry Short
Cake.
Chocolate Eclair People are unique, creative and full of rich surprises.
The rich chocolate coating serves as a protective boundary for the soft
rich inner reward. Self contained and self-disciplined. The crusty shell
tells again of strong honorable boundaries and its airy texture shows an
on-going quest for knowledge to be a strong value. The outer defenses
protect the true jewel that lies within. When you get to know them you
will discover a real softy. Creamy, smooth, compassionate and nurturing.
These contrasting values, outer containment (duty) and inner softness
(desire), create a inner tug-of-war...spontaneous and feeling vs.
analytical and logical.
Dignified and unique, they stand alone. Give them time to make a decision.
They have lots to consider. Once they make their mind up, completion and
competence are the goals.
Life from a Strawberry Short Cake’s point of view is quite the opposite.
This person attracts attention and has fun. Tart and exciting, they
stimulate and motivate others. Natural cheerleaders, they are spontaneous,
free flowing, and love variety and change. They get bored doing one thing.
With a demanding sense of freedom and a casual attitude, they tend to
avoid detailed instructions, rigid structure and formality. They learn
best by hands-on experience and observing. The spongy cake base shows a
natural curiosity for learning.
These team players responds well to praise and positive suggestions.
Sensitive to criticism but open to new concepts. Lead them with praise.
Lift them up rather than put them down. Clarify what you expect of them.
These creative idea people work well with pie and cake people who are
focused and results oriented.
Everything is someone’s point of view. Embrace the tasty differences
from a delicious point of view.
